Tracing Ollie's Handwriting and Phonics allows students to trace the letter of a word using their finger. The app gives them feedback on how well the letter has been traced. If a student is not tracing the letter correctly, the app will stop the student and ask them to get back on track. The speech button on the app allows the students to hear the letters being said, and using the microphone on the iPAD the students are prompted to repeat the letter correctly.
General Critique
The app is perfect for learning the alphabet and the sounds that are associated with each letter. The app can give students a boost of encouragement when needed with its feedback.
