Duolingo is an excellent app for learning a language. It makes it easy for users to always be aware
of their long-term goals and short-term objectives. You simple set a goal for each day and use the app. It tracks your progress towards your goal and you can even compete with friends!
General Critique
Menus have a hierarchical structure which makes navigation through various lessons quite simple.
