UDL Guideline 7.1 - Optimize individual choice and autonomy
Khan Academy is an extremely valuable resource for education, but it should be used carefully. Students should not simply be given free reign over their lessons within the app, but should be provided choices. Once students make these choices, they can choose how to sequence their learning to completion. They may choose to set aside 30 minutes a day to work on their goal or may choose to complete their work in larger chunks; they key is to involve students in the setting of their own goals.
General Critique
Menus have a hierarchical structure which makes navigation through various lessons quite simple.
