UDL Guideline (8.4) Increase mastery-oriented feedback
Monster Physics allows elementary students to learn and apply basic physics skills (force, acceleration, mass, vectors). Students play the game by building a monster body, creating a car, and a helicopter using various tools. Then they can test their design. If it does not work, students get feedback, and they have to think critically to modify their design. Also, when students succeed, they will go to the next, more complex, level.
General Critique
This application supports active learning and problem solving while also providing a scaffold that motivates students to learn by thinking critically.
