General Critique
If we accept the fact that technology is essential for UDL to work in the classroom, then there must be a way for teachers to get those resources during these tight economic times. In school districts where the funding is limited, this is an example where a teacher can request (and fund) appropriate technology in the classroom.
Product
In this case, my daughter (who is a teacher in North Carolina), was able to procure a variety of technology that benefited her students. In this world of tightening finances, teachers can take control by asking for help. Edyburn (2010) would argue that this is an important part of community-building in the classroom.
