Students who struggle with reading text in a visual way can supplement instruction by following along with an audiobook format. Books are read aloud for the user to hear, and no visual information is necessary for hearing the book.
General Critique
Several classic audiobooks are available for free with creation of an audiobooks.com account (done in a browser). Books are available in a wide range of topics from fiction to non-fiction. The app is very simply designed with clearly labeled menus, navigation, and store purchases. This enables students to focus on the acquisition of information in their preferred way.
