eClicker

Get it here
Cost:  Free

UDL guideline 4.1 - Provide options for physical action:  Vary the methods for response and navigation.  In this case, using a clicker to respond to a teacher in class is an alternative for pen and paper activities.  The student simply "clicks" on the appropriate response and the information appears on the teacher's computer/Ipad and then can be shown on a screen (regular or electronic).

General Critique
This has become a popular replacement for traditional homework assignments in math, for example.  The student can use a variety of methods available on the IPad to complete the assignment and then respond to the teacher by clicking in at the appropriate time.
