UDL Guideline 2.3- Support decoding of text, mathematical notation and symbols
The app gives students the option to answer multiplication tables by modeling what 2x2 represents. Students can look at 2x2 on paper but the app allows the student to make 2x2 happen with the help of the iPAD. The difficultly of multiplication tables and design options can be adjusted to optimize motivation.
General Critique
App Tutor MT lacks the voice-to-text option that is defined for 2.3; however, the app does allow the students to graph the tables as they answer them.
