3D Cell Stain shows a virtual model of a eukaryote cell that can be manipulated by the user. One feature of the app simulates fluorescent dye being added to different cell organelles, as determined by the user.
General Critique
Adding the simulated dye to the cell organelles highlights critical features of the cell and allows the user to more clearly see the location of the organelle within the cell. Organelles can be dyed using different colors of dye in order to view multiple parts of the cell simultaneously.
