Voice Dictation

Cost: $1.99

UDL Guideline 4.2 - Optimize access to tools and assistance technologies
This application allows learners to record what they are speaking as text, allowing an alternative to keyboard use when it comes to composition of writing materials. Once a selection has been spoken, the user can choose to email, copy to the clipboard for use in word processing software, share via social media, or even send a text message with the text that was dictated.

General Critique
While the giant microphone button is obviously needed to be pushed for dictation to start, a visual readout of the text that has been spoken would be useful for users. Instead, users are able to record and then send in a wide variety of formats.
